Innovative solutions in the field of Tunnel light signaling, using the latest LED technology and photoluminescent elements (TO.018)

A Spanish company working in the field of marking and signalling roads, railway and airports has developed a smart signalling system for tunnels emergency exits. The system eases evacuation and rescue team actuation in case of accidents. The company is looking for commercial agreements with technical assistance.

The system consist in using Photoluminescence signals for a greater visibility of the emergency exits, complemented with the use of flexible dynamic LED tape with the following characteristics:

• 2 mm width
• Great adaptation capacity to different geometrics
• LEDs encapsulated in resine.
• High fire resistance and high sealing IP68
• easy installation and low maintenance cost
• 200.000 hour life
• 12 V DC supply

Innovative aspects
The system helps to avoid random behaviour of persons, with an easy instruction comprehension and total integration in main control systems.
